SOUTH PARK, CASTLES, AND SCULPTURES
Maybe some of you have seen these already, but I just came across these hilarious renditions of the noble houses of Westeros, done in South Park style: [link]
Also, one fan has added to his gallery of castles and structures from the series, new additions including Winterfell, Khal Drogo's palace, and a Mereen pyramid: [link]
And as I was poking around on Westeros.org last time for the Valyrian Resins info, I found some links to some more sculptures from the series, previously to be distributed by Testors (but it seems no more, I have no clue what'll happen to them now). Check out Tom Meier's starts on Ser Loras and some Nightswatch members, and if you've seen them already, hey why not check them out again?

DONDE ESTAS LOS SUBMISSIONS?
We haven't received many submissions from folks in a while, just to remind you all -- all you have to do is drop us a note with a link to your deviation and we'll upload it to the club gallery. The perk of this (and ostensibly, the point of belonging to a club!) is that everyone who is subscribed to the club is notified of the deviation, and then they can go to your gallery and check it out. Instant views, yay!

But it also makes me wonder, perhaps nobody has anything ready to go? I would like to then open the comments section of this post to any entries answering the question: What are you working on!? Myself, I've become a big fan of uploading WIP's, I have a picture of Catelyn and a sketch of House Stark going, and I have to say that input from other fans have been very useful. Anyone wanna show off something they have in the works? Feedback can be great, and where better to find it than a fan community?

Also, for those of you that are more art appreciators than art creators, maybe you have some ideas of people or scenes that you'd like to see? That can give our fan artists some ideas if they're running dry

The South Park style drawings are hilarious!! The artist has captured the characters' personalities amazingly well. Jaime looks particularly cool... And the Baratheons are so funny!

I'll send you a note with submissions. :)... Is it OK if I send things that are already in your faves?... Oh, and would you accept a pic of Daemon Blackfyre? Another ASoIaF club I'm in didn't... Ah, well, I'll just send the note and you'll see what's good for the gallery ;)

Yep that's totally fine, and I think we accept any characters/scenes that are cannon in the universe of the stories, it's okay if they're from the novellas or backstory. At least, I think ... technically I should powwow with =elegaer but I think she's busy so I'm going to make an executive decision on this one :P

I need to do something ASoIaF-ish, but I'm not sure *what*. Any suggestions?

"My name is Valerius." Valerius straightened his coat with a regal, arrogant jerk. "And I do take offense to him." (Sherrilyn Kenyon, "Night Embrace")

I really like your Clash of Kings cover, you could do them for the other books (I'd love to see the color schemes you might pick out). And you do a lot with flowers, you could do something related to blue roses. Hrmm ... you could do a quartet of queens? Or you could do representations of characters based on their heraldry, maybe you could incorporate memorable lines that really explain a character. Maybe you could take some of your favorite lines and decorate around that with some motifs from the books. ASOIAF has a lot of evocative color schemes thanks to the feudal system. And I of course adore the Cersei and Jaime picture that's the ID of the club, you could do something like that for your favorite characters or scenes. Me, I'm a fan of when two characters have fateful meetings, like Ned and Cersei in the godswood, Stannis and Jon at the wall, Brienne and Stoneheart in the ASOS prologue, Sansa and the scheming Tyrells, etc. Or maybe something really creepy or atmospheric like Melisandre's shadow babies or Dany's dragons or something from the prologues. Or a depiction of some of the songs or legends within Westeros.

I agree that you really do need to do something ASoIaF-ish :D
